Just a few days before Digicel launches yet another exciting promotion, Antigua and Barbuda’s bigger, better network has revisited the winners of its Christmas Cash Grab promotion in which customers won part of $250,000 in cash and prizes.

 

“It was a wonderful Christmas,” exclaimed Keshannah Browne; one of the four winners from Digicel’s Christmas Cash Grab promotion. With a pleasant smile on her face she said, “It has been one of the best Christmases that I can remember mainly because of the money that I won from Digicel. It helped me a lot.”

 

Keshannah was the first winner in the promotion and walked away with $9,000. She said she shared her winnings with her sister and mother, and the largest portion will be used to pay her third level tuition fees. Keshannah, a Digicel customer for a year and three months and a Capricorn by birth, used some of her money to celebrate and enjoy her birthday in January.

 

“I’ve received my fair share of popularity as a lot of people recognized me from the TV game show which is heartwarming. Winning the money is good but it hasn’t changed who I am; I am still an honest individual, but the money has definitely changed my position in life; I’m in a better place”.

Keshannah spoke at length of her humble beginning and the support of her family; citing her sister and mother as the reason for being grounded.

 

As she reflects, she says “I remembered the day when I got the call to say I was a finalist; I remembered even before I got on set for the show, I was making plans to spend the money that I didn’t even win yet. This is the first time in my life that I’ve ever won anything and because of this Digicel has changed my life”.
