On World Food Day, Friday, some of the homeless, shut-ins and people living with HIV and AIDS in Antigua received a meal and/or food packages from Sandals Grande Antigua. The resort partnered with the Salvation Army to deliver canned/dry goods donated by staff, and meals from its restaurants, to the indigent in the communities and those who frequent the VC Bird bust in St John’s. World Food Day is a day of action against hunger.
