Stingrays are thought to be really dangerous animals, with the ability to swim up to you and lash out at will, delivering a lethal blow from its deadly tail. While our Stingray still have their barbed spine (it would be really mean of us to remove it!) you will find that our Stingrays are like big puppy dogs just looking for a bit of attention and a handout!
It is impossible for the Stingray to use their ‘weapon’ at will and with your attention to the instructions given by our skilled Stingray handlers you will find you are at no time at any risk from the Stingrays. This is an extremely safe, fun and educational experience.
You might end up even liking Stingrays by the end of the trip!! Remember: Our Rays are ‘The Brightest Rays in the Caribbean’. Not to mention, friendly, gentle, kind, sweet … you get the idea!
A short ride on calm water will take you to Stingray City. Here you will be able to pet and feed Southern Stingrays in their natural environment. You will learn all about these amazing animals from your experienced guide.
