Miramar Sailing is offering the unique opportunity to follow the RORC Caribbean 600, on our very special spectator boat - Cuba Libre.
 
This is no ordinary spectator boat, Cuba Libre is one of the legendary Volvo Ocean 60 transatlantic racing yachts.  Under the expertise of renowned skipper Johannes Schwarz, you will be able to get a close up view of the tactics and some excellent photo opportunities as we follow the race leaders.  

The RORC Caribbean 600 course is designed to provide a challenging, high speed race.  Some of the fastest racing yachts on the scene will come together to tackle this nonstop figure of 8 course around the Leeward Islands.   Introduced in 2008 as the Caribbean equivalent of the Fastnet, the "600" is already in the top 10 of world class yacht racing events. The competition between the competing yachts will be fierce, this rare opportunity to follow the race “up close and personal” has adrenaline rush written all over it!

Our skipper, Johannes, will tailor the course to make sure you see the best of the action. If you are new to the world of sailing, he will happily fill you in on all the details of what is happening out on the water.  But if you have sailed before and want to join the crew this is the perfect occasion.  

The RORC Caribbean 600 starts in Antigua on Monday 24th February 2014.  In past years the winner usually takes about 3-4 days to complete the course (and we’ll be close behind!).
Price is US$850.00 per person; this includes Meals, soft drinks, On Board Accommodation and the thrill of sailing a VO60!  

We will leave from and return to Falmouth Harbour, Antigua.
