MIRAMAR SAILING DONATES SUNSET CRUISE FOR CHARITY Tuesday 3rd January 2012
Miramar Sailing kindly donated a Sunset Cruise at the recent Charity Auction in aid of local charity P.A.A.W.S (Protect Antiguan Animals with a Smile). This is a charity run by volunteers who rescue and re-home animals in Antigua. Miramar Sailing felt it was a very worthy cause that needed support from all local businesses and could not wait to help out!
The Sunset Cruise is a 3 hour cruise with ‘Cocktails and Canapes’ which guests can enjoy as the sun sets. It is very popular with honeymoon couples or those wishing to enjoy a Caribbean sunset at sea. Miramar Sailing offers a range of cruises from a three-hour Sunset Cruise to a Super Day eight-hour experience. All cruises offer guests an opportunity to experience the delights of sailing close to the shores of Antigua, giving a unique perspective of the island while enjoying the fantastic Miramar customer service experience.
The generous winning bid for the Sunset Cruise came from Jolly Harbour residents, Peter and Margaret, who wished to take their friends, Judith and Malcom, with them. Margaret was very particular she wanted a really spectacular sunset so Brian (Miramar joint owner) said he would send an email to the man upstairs. He was obviously listening as everyone experienced a one of a kind sunset spectacle.
