When you take an RYA Sailing course with Miramar Sailing, you are not only achieving a globally recognised sailing qualification, you are also having a lot of “fun in the sun” in the process! For many the RYA qualification is the first step on the road to a new career. We are delighted to report that these past students have all gone beyond this first step and secured employment in the Yachting Industry.

Natalie recently qualified as a Day Skipper and now has a job as stewardess on board the world famous Mega Yacht “Icon”.

Toby achieved his Yachtmaster Offshore, while his partner Maria achieved her Day Skipper, and now both work together as a Charter Crew in the Mediterranean.

Josh also achieved Yachtmaster and is continuing his career on Super yachts.

Callum did the Yachtmaster Xpress Course with us last year and he is now crew on a well-known performance racing yacht.

Noel & Patricia both achieved Yachtmaster Offshore; they are now professionally employed as crew on a Caribbean Charter yacht.

Daniel passed his Coastal Skipper with us and is now 1^st mate on 92ft sailing monohull.  His colleague Laughlan passed Day skipper with us and is crew on the same yacht.

At Miramar Sailing School it is possible to “live the dream”, re-qualify and start a new career.  We run the full RYA Training scheme with its progressive course structure, but if you really want to make a life changing decision, and achieve a new career as quickly as possible take our next Yachtmaster Xpress Course in January 2014.  This is an intense Sail Training package that takes you from the lower rung of Competent Crew to the pinnacle of Yachtmaster Offshore in just 13 weeks, all whilst cruising the glorious waters of the Caribbean Sea.
