As the Curacao Open continues result coming from court side. D'Jeri Raymond in her singles finals suffered a loss to Zoe Kulkarni of the USA 3-6, 3-6
In the boys doubles quarterfinals Jevannie Ambrose & Yagil Elias (Suriname) was defeated by the #1 seeded doubles team of Jacob Bickell & Dimitri Bird of Jamaica 2-6, 4-6
Also in the Girls doubles finals D'Jeri Raymond & partner Shaeda Nickle (Jamaica) the #1 seededefeated by the #2 seed doubles team Daynisja Ricardo (Netherland Antilles) & Natasha Esschendal (Aruba) 3-6, 3-6
Though the tournament girls U14 competition is complete, the tournament continues both boys U14 and the U18 (boys & girls) competition.
We congratulate our players on their successes throughout this tournament. We also thank CIBC/First Caribbean International Bank who assisted our players with their expenses. D'Jeri Raymond also thanks ABI Bank who continues to support her in all her endeavours. Without the support of these institutions our athletes would be at a disadvantage. We also thank Coach Williams who continues to feverishly prepare these athletes for the international stage and to ITF the selection of Jevannie Ambrose and D'Jeri Raymond to the regional training camp was a success as can be seen in their performance.
