Sailing enthusiasts were treated to a spectacular weekend on the water as the Jolly Harbour Yacht Club (JHYC) hosted its 2025 Annual Regatta in near-perfect conditions. With steady winds, calm seas, and vibrant camaraderie onshore and off, this year’s event proved to be one of the most memorable yet.
The standout performance came from Blue Peter, who delivered exceptional sailing throughout the series to secure overall victory. Their triumph earned them the prestigious Budgie Cup, a coveted symbol of excellence within the local sailing community.
Regatta entrants enjoyed competitive and spirited racing across all classes, with sailors remarking on the ideal weather and well-run courses. Organisers extended heartfelt congratulations to all participants for contributing to an exciting and well-fought event.
A special thank you was also extended to the Antigua Yacht Club (AYC) boats that joined the regatta and made the journey to Jolly Harbour, adding even more depth to the competition.
The JHYC also expressed sincere appreciation to its sponsors for their continued support. Their involvement remains instrumental in transforming the Annual Regatta into not just a racing fixture, but a true community celebration.
