JHYC ANNOUNCES A NEW VALENTINE'S EVENT FOR 2012 Wednesday 9th March 2011
Jolly Harbour Yacht Club announces a new event for 2012 to replace its traditional Valentine's Regatta.
Although not yet finally decided, it will be be given a name such as the 'Antigua Valentine's Festival of Sailing'.
It is intended to be a combination of fun rallies, a dinghy sailing regatta and some serious racing around the cans. It will be family and cruiser centred rather than an event solely for full-on racers, although racers will, of course, be most welcome.
The event will be based out of Jolly Harbour and will combine events and activities with its bars and restaurants.
This exciting new event is still in the early planning stages but more detailed plans will be forumlated soon and the Notice of Race will be out soon.
