DINGHY SAILING FOR YOUTHS - NEW COURSES Thursday 22nd October 2009
We have 12 places available on our youth sailing programmers. Interested candidates should contact Pippa Pettingell with names and numbers as soon as possible to be sure of getting a place. Candidates must be able to swim at least 25 yds before they can be enrolled.
The Sunday morning courses are paid instruction, and the fees taken contribute to the cost of the free Youth Programme - we need people who are not eligible for the Saturday programme to enrol and support the project of getting young Antiguans out on the water that surrounds their island. The opportunities for competent sailors are great in Antigua - they could go on to represent their Nation in major competition, or even move into a career that is Marine Industry based. Antigua has been more successful in the Olympics at sailing than at any other sport.
