ANTIGUA & BARBUDA 32ND INDEPENDENCE ACTIVITIES
Wednesday 30th October 2013

Celebrate the 32nd anniversary of Antigua & Barbuda’s Independence with us, as we have countless events happening as we lead up to, and after the big day on Friday November 1st. Independence Day on Friday is a Public Holiday and there will be lots to watch and join in to, along with an array of local dishes and delicacies available for purchase around the island.

National Independence Homecoming Celebrations have been organized, with National Dress Day, the National Dress Parade and Day of Flag and Independence Homecoming Banquet set for Thursday 31st October, followed by the Ceremonial Parade, Food Fair, Arts and Crafts Exhibition and Panache on Friday in the islands capital, St John’s City. Saturday and Sunday are “Antigua Then” Days and the Independence Fashion Show is scheduled for Sunday evening. Check out the full official schedule here.

Apart from official national festivity, private businesses are joining in the celebrations with special dining options and sporting events.
