PLASTIC BOTTLE COLLECTION POINTS EXPAND Thursday 2nd September 2021
We are launching our new location starting this and every Saturday from the 3rd of September adjacent Fresh and Easy Supermarket from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
In addition, phase two of the project is due to commence shortly where Waste-to-Product will be the focus. However, post-consumer waste is often mixed, contaminated and not suitable for food-grade recycling.
Turning this useless waste into useful products can extend its life and keep it from going straight to landfill. HDPE, also known as #2 plastic, is used in countless everyday products such as shopping bags, pipes, crates, and detergent and milk bottles.
Therefore, we are seeking to collaborate with tradesmen, crafters, furniture makers and entrepreneurs to start making products.
