NATIONAL SAILING ACADEMY

The Jolly Harbour Dinghy Club restarted its Saturday morning Jolly Harbour Dolphins program on Saturday, September 1.

The program will be run as usual until mid-summer next year when most of the kids head for other places on holiday. The Club expects to its week long Sailing Camps during school holidays as usual to keep the kids occupied while parents work, subject as always to sufficient numbers.
 
The Saturday program, which used to operate from the North Beach in Jolly Harbour but recently moved to the marina area, runs from 9:30 am to 13:30 pm.  It is a mixture of fun sailing and instruction, plus racing briefings on tactics with some racing where appropriately qualified students are available.  RYA-qualified instructors are always on-site along with a manned safety boat.
