The National Sailing Academy has officially kicked off a brand-new school term, welcoming both new and returning students to its vibrant sailing program in Antigua and Barbuda.
The first week was filled with excitement as young sailors took to the water, many for the very first time. New schools began their journey with water confidence testing and basic swimming lessons — a vital first step before embarking on their journey. Meanwhile, returning schools, already seasoned in the program, wasted no time rigging their boats and heading straight out to sea on the first day.
The Academy extended heartfelt thanks to all the participating primary and secondary schools whose continued involvement keeps the program thriving. Their support plays a key role in helping the Academy nurture the next generation of Antiguan & Barbudan sailors.
With teamwork, skill-building, and adventure on the horizon, the term promises to be another memorable chapter for these young seafarers. 🌊⛵💙
