The Fun Run starting line
Tug-Green defended their Liberta Sports Club Hayden Walsh Easter Classic title yesterday when they clinched the athletics showdown at Ball Beef. They also retained the futsal competition by beating Village 7 – 3 in the final on Sunday. Village are the new cricket champs beating Table Hill by 44runs after both teams had wins over Tug–Green. Table Hill walked away as netball champs beating Village in the final.

Rhian Benjamin - First Female in the fun run
Ya-so-so Lyndale Cochrane won the two miles fun run for the fourth consecutive time in (11:36:10) beating Jamal “Boogie” Baltimore into second place (11:47:91). Eleven year old Rhian Benjamin was the first female to finish in (14:20:00) with Baby “J”(14:22:00) and Genia Waldron (17:17:91) second and third respectively.

After the fun run while everyone enjoyed their Liberta breakfast, Leroy “Billy” Tonge and Dr. Jerry Simon were presented with glass plaques for their contributions to the Liberta Sports Club.
