THANK YOU FROM ST.JOHN'S HOSPICE Monday 14th May 2012
Thanks to Rob & Katie Davies the first annual Jolly Jog run for St John Hospice, was held on Sunday May 6th in Jolly Harbour. In spite of a drizzly wet afternoon 65 persons & one dog registered for the run/walk and mingled with family and friends over drinks and BBQ.
The winners were: Men 1st Vigo Ashfield time 42.18, 2nd Adam Davis time 42.19 & 3rd Rob Davies time 43.36. Women 1st Tenijah Morris time 43.11, 2nd Kerrie Beaument time 45.44 & 3rd Candice Chumley 46.41. Congratulations, well done.
St John Hospice would like to thank the organizers of the “Jolly Jog” event , Rob & Katie Davies, Aiden McCauley of Sugar Ridge, Gaye Hechme of CDAL and Angie Dickenson of Al Porto.
Registration of $50 pp went to the Hospice including the takings from the bar and food venues, while each person registered received a: goody bag, containing a T-shirt, Subway voucher, bag pen & disc, voucher from Sugar Ridge and Sign Pro sticker. Besides receiving a trophy, everyone received a participation medal while both men and women’s first place received one night A1 at Sugar Ridge, second received dinner for 2 at Carmichaels and third received 3 mths. gym membership at Sugar Ridge dinner for 2 at Cafe Bambula.
A big thank you also go to the donors of Sugar Ridge, Caribbean Developments (Antigua) Ltd. (CDAL), Al Porto, Rob & Katie Davies, Cafe Bambula, Event Studios, Subway, Sign Pro, Carib, Heineken, Oasis water, Farara’s Liquors, St John Association Response team and all volunteers who manned the registration desk, water stops and bars.
