I wanted to let you know that we have returned from vacationing on your island (we had a great time and will be back!). Your newsletter was informative and helpful.
We stayed for 2 nights at the Oceanic View Exclusive Cottages in Freemans Village. Very friendly people, nice clean cottages, good food. I wouldn't stay there if you were planning on being busy, not much going on, food isn't always available. They cook when they want. They did let us borrow their car to go explore on Friday. The owner took us with them on Saturday morning to the Heritage Market (I had read about it and that is stuff we enjoy doing on vacation mingling with locals). What a blast, bought all our fruit/vegetables for the week there and bought eggs and bread too.
Went fishing with Night Wing. While the water was very choppy (7 foot waves) Mike the captain and his first mate Kareem did their best to keep us safe. We didn't get any fish but I would recommend them and use them again.
Titi Rent-A-Car - delivered the car to us at our resort Tranquility Bay. He was very friendly and had the best prices for a two day rental. I'd recommend him as well. Our resort Tranquility Bay said they had never used or didn't know of anybody who used Titi car rental.
Long Bay was very nice for playing in the water and sunbathing, we also went to Half Moon Bay and Fryes Beach.
We spent the remainder of our time at Tranquility Bay. The activities personnel are awesome, the rooms were very nice. Beach activities were great and I'd recommend it as well.
