TRAIL BLAZING AND MAINTENANCE COURSE Friday 5th August 2011
Are you looking for work? Do you want to make yourself more marketable and be in a position to go after the trend setting jobs. There is a demand in the eco-tourism sector both here at home and regionally, for trained persons in the technology of nature trail blazing and maintenance. This also includes being skilled in tree care, wildlife assessment, controlling ecological foot prints, infrastructure and communications. The Environmental Awareness Group and the Gilbert Agricultural & Rural Development Center in collaboration with the UN Global Environment Facility, will be hosting a Trail Blazing and Maintenance course starting on August 15-17th and 22-24th from 5-8pm nightly with an additional 6 hours of practicals. The venue for the lectures will be a location in St. John’s to be selected and the practicals will be at Gilbert Agro-heritage Nature Center and other designated nature sites
