TEEN XPLOSION SUBCOMMITTEE TO HOST A REBRANDED SHOW Wednesday 27th May 2015
2015 Teen Xplosion, formerly “Teen splash”, Competition Subcommittee Chairman, Vinema Jarvis, says this year’s show promises to be one with a difference as the Antigua Barbuda Festivals Commission get set to mark the 59th anniversary of the Caribbean’s Greatest Summer festival next year.
Jarvis says his committee has be working to produce a rebranded show that will include five segments with a new and exciting twist aimed at building the momentum around school rivalry. This year’s Teen Xplosion winner will host a youth-centered television program and walk away with a grand Prize.
He adds that this year, the contestants will be encouraged to express themselves through creativity and showcase their skills that may be but not limited to the traditional boundaries of performances on stage.
Teen Xplosion will also include a School Platform Segment where contestants will use a project as a catalyst to promoting positivity in the school environment. The introduction of a Look Challenge seeks to allow the contestants to showcase their own unique sense of style.
Other segments will include the Interview Segment and the Pitch Segment.
Teen Xplosion 2015 will be staged on July 27th at Carnival City.
