MEET THE GROOVY-JUMPY SOCA MONARCH 2012 KING! Wednesday 8th August 2012
After series of intriguing performances and splendid costumes, each artist trying to out-do each other, on Saturday evening, the results were in and for the second time, Antigua’s Groovy and Jumpy Soca Monarch King was hailed Tian Winter!
Tian Winter has copped not just one but the two coveted Carnival soca titles for 2012 along with two brand new cars. With the Groovy and the Jumpy (Power) titles, Tian has secured a place in the 2013 International Soca Monarch finals in Trinidad. Way to go Team Tian!
While some are crying, some are mad, some are even saying the judges “thief,” but for some of us Tian Winter stole the entire show with his offerings of, "Cya Fail Me" in the Groovy section and "Raving" in the Jumpy section.
Needless to say at the end of the show, this created much excitement among the crowd! It was certainly and EPIC night for us all! Way to go Team Tian!
