The official start of carnival might be scheduled for next Wednesday in Antigua, but one wouldn’t be able to tell that easily. The so called pre-carnival fêtes are already hyped throughout the country and nothing can stop the talks about the festival.
Mas and Parade troupes are gearing up for the actual event with massive rehearsals all summer long.
Carnival 2011 is being held from July 27th to 2nd August, with a variety of events throughout the week, aimed at entertaining the whole family.
