Proficient in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
Proficient in Excel and computer skills, with organizational proficiency
Ideal if experienced with Opera Systems
Flexible schedule, able to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays
3-4 years of luxury resort experience in a Department Head role
Thrives on diverse and challenging work, taking pride in accomplishments
Responsibilities
Deliver passionate service consistently
Contribute to shaping the work environment with innovative ideas and collaborative efforts across departments
Foster inclusion and embrace diversity within the team
Direct and control Front Desk, Concierge, Reservations, Bellmen, and Guest Services staff activities
Respond to guest requests, ensuring maximum satisfaction while adhering to company policies
Serve as the primary guest ambassador, assisting guests as needed
Manage Front Desk shifts and ensure communication with the Rooms Division team
Interview, train, schedule, and evaluate staff performance
Implement progressive discipline when necessary
Identify revenue opportunities and maximize red date conversion
Ensure strategic business decisions are executed effectively
Plan and manage Rooms Division revenue and expenses
Maximize departmental profit while controlling costs
Contribute to the development and execution of the resort's annual marketing plan to increase revenues and enhance the resort's image.
