VACANCY FOR A HOUSEKEEPING COORDINATOR Wednesday 8th November 2023
We need someone who is excited to be an integral part of the team focusing on an excellent guest experience while ensuring a profitable business.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Report to the Executive Housekeeper & Executive Assistant Manager
- Produce and update daily/monthly reports including room status reports
- Liaise with maintenance to resolve issues
- Inspect guest rooms for guest arrivals
- Computerized scheduling and processing of weekly rosters for payroll
- Stamina to handle the physical demands of the job with flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
- Conduct department opening & closing duties
- Perform inventory and control functions
Requirements:
- High school diploma and higher educational background
- Computer literacy and demonstrated capability working with resort PMS, inventories and inventory systems
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of Front Office operations preferred
- Any overseas experience in USA; Europe or the Caribbean at Luxury Hotels of comparable standards will be an asset
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, be calm and courteous at all times
- Hands-on experience with cleaning and maintenance tasks for large organizations
- Excellent organizational and team management skills
- Have previous Housekeeping leadership/supervisory experience or work in similar role
