SHEER ROCKS WELCOMES NEW CHEF Monday 10th November 2014
Sheer Rocks welcomes Simon Christey-French to its team as Head Chef.
A young British chef with an impressive culinary career, Simon was named UK Restaurant Association’s Young Chef of the Year in 2007 and Chef of the Year in 2010.
He has worked at the 2 Michelin starred Gidleigh Park Hotel in the UK as well as with revered chef/owner Philip Howard at The Square, also a 2 Michelin starred restaurant.
He was also Head Chef at 2* Pearl Restaurant in London, Head Chef at The Chancery, London and Private Chef for Richard Branson at Necker Island, in the British Virgin Islands.
Simon will enhance the Sheer Rocks philosophy that emphasizes simplicity and detail working with fresh local ingredients from fishermen and farmers on island. We’re excited to welcome him into the team.
