[ANTIGUA, DECEMBER 31] Rocks Group is very proud to announce that Sheer Rocks has been named Best Restaurant in the Caribbean by Caribbean Journal. After landing in position #6 for 2018, Sheer Rocks and their impressive team are elated to take home this title for 2019.

At the conclusion of every year, Caribbean Journal lists the Caribbean’s 50 Best Restaurants, after travelling throughout the region and exploring everything from resort restaurants to tucked-away beach shacks. Sheer Rocks, having worked its way up in recognition since its debut in 2010, is beloved for its endless views, romantic setting, gorgeous pools, and of course, culinary extravagance. Sheer Rocks has topped industry lists, notably being awarded for four consecutive years in the TripAdvisor Traveller’s Choice Award, as one of the Best Fine Dining Restaurants in the world, and placing first in the entire Caribbean Region in 2018 in USA TODAYS 10 BEST.

Owners Kate and Alex Grimley spearhead the Sheer Rocks team, accompanied by one of the Caribbean’s Most Acclaimed Chefs, Group Chef, Simon Christey-French, as well as Group Bar Manager Jackson Telemaque, and Head Chef, Jamal Warner. The restaurant prides itself on its local and sustainably sourced menus and is joined on Caribbean Journal’s 50 Best for the first time by sister restaurant, Catherine’s Café. Having been around for more than twenty years, Catherine’s Café has been making a name for itself since Rocks Group took ownership in 2017, placing #49 on Caribbean Journal’s 2019 list.

Sheer Rocks is open every day, serving Tapas Lunch, beginning at 12pm, and an à la carte dinner at 6pm, as well as a Six Course Tasting Menu with optional Wine Pairing.
