Cocobay Resort is a Luxury Resort Group in Antigua dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences while maintaining a commitment to our employees' growth and development. We are currently seeking a highly professional and dedicated Human Resources Associate to join our team and contribute to the success of our resort.

Position Overview:

As the Human Resources Associate at Cocobay Resort Group, you will play a crucial role in our resort's employees' effective administration and leadership. You will be responsible for various HR functions, ensuring compliance, employee development, and overall satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the HR team in the recruitment, training, retention, and development of employees.

• Maintain comprehensive and secure records of employees, both in physical and digital formats.

• Verify candidates' backgrounds by contacting references and previous employers.

Conduct employee orientations, including verifying employment data, collecting necessary documents, and providing employment contracts.

• Assist employees in understanding and managing their compensation and benefits.

• Promptly address HR-related inquiries within the organization.

• Work closely with HR, Resort Managers, and other operating teams to enhance employee productivity and satisfaction.

• Ensure strict adherence to health and safety standards and industry codes. Requirements:

• Associate degree in Human Resources or a related field. • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Human Resources. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word), email systems, and database software.

• Exceptional communication skills (verbal, written, and listening).

• Strong organization and time management abilities.

• Highly confidential, analytical, and reliable.

Empathetic and approachable demeanour.

• Knowledge of ABHTA/ABWU Collective Agreement and the Antigua Barbuda Labour Code.

• Willingness to work flexible days, hours, and shifts.

Clean police record.
