The primary responsibility of the Reservation Agent is to communicate with guests, travel advisors and wholesalers to book reservations for upcoming visits. The ideal candidate provides guests with hotel facility information and answers questions relating to the hotel and local area. Curtain Bluff’s Reservations Agent works in an environment that demands exceptional performance and must possess strong communication and listening skills.

Summary of Responsibilities:

• Efficiently and professionally process reservations calls, call backs, e-mail requests, and internet bookings.
• Administer pre arrival services for arriving guests
• Ensure proper booking information is recorded for each reservation.
• Maintain an efficient filing system for the reservations inbox, and respond to emails in a timely manner.
• Collect and process deposits and final payments for confirmed bookings.
• Maintain positive relationships with travel advisors and wholesalers
• Assist in recognizing and maintaining relationships with repeat guests and top producing travel advisors
• Serve as a backup to the front desk when needed.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and safe work environment.

The ideal candidate must have experience as follows:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• At least two (2) years of relevant experience in a luxury resort preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Time management and organizational skills are necessary for multi-tasking.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and hotel property management systems
