FIRST RED BALL TOURNAMENT RESULTS Tuesday 8th October 2013
Another day of tournament excitement on the courts of the Halcyon Tennis Club as Antigua’s 6-8 year olds took to the courts showing their skill at our first red ball tournament for the fall season.
The action and the quality of play viewed by all indicates that our upcoming tennis Players will be a force to be reckoned with. Two competitions were held; in the Boys competition John Pierre Roberts (St. John’s Catholic Primary) got the better of Jaiden Julien (St. Nicholas Primary) to win the boys red ball title- score 10-4
The action packed girls finals was between Ariel Kelsick (*KIDS UNLIMITED) and Samar Davis (Foundation Mixed school), both girls showed the kind of athleticism it takes to be a true champion. Samar Davis eventually got the better of Ariel Kelsick to take the girls red ball title – score 10-5
