TRINIDAD ITF JUNIOR CIRCUIT DAY 3 & 4 RESULTS Wednesday 27th March 2013
Success came yesterday as under 14 doubles player Cordell Williams jr. and his partner Jean Phillip Murray of St. Lucia sailed into the doubles semi finals after defeating Quinten Bang A Foe (Sur)/Suhas Vennam (USA) in straight sets 6-4, 6-1. Williams & Murray will today meet the all Surinamese team of Shivar Ramkalup & Yagil Elias.
Under 18 player D'Jeri Raymond & doubles partner Shania Millington (TRI) was not as successful in their bid for a quarterfinal spot. Raymond & Millington was ousted in straight sets by doubles team Christiana Brigante(USA)/ Lalita Devarakond (IND) 6-1, 6-0.
In the boys U14 singles competition, Cordell Williams Jr. battled throughout the singles knockout match, but in the end #1 seed Quinten Bang A Foe (Sur) got the better of Williams defeating him 6-4, 7-6(7-2 tie break)
