ABTA 14 & UNDER JR. OPEN RESULTS Tuesday 29th January 2013
The stage was set on Saturday 26th January, 2013 for Monday's finals of the ABTA's 14 & Under Jr. Open held at Halcyon by Rex Resorts.
The final 4 was decided for both the boys and girls competition as the semifinal matches took to the courts.
In the boys semi finals round Cordell Williams jr(St. Anthony's Secondary /Halcyon Tennis)
defeated Frankie Smith (St. Joseph Academy/Old Road fund) and Keon Armstrong (St. John's Lutheran/Halcyon Tennis) defeated Justice Christopher(St. Anthony's Secondary/Halcyon Tennis)
In the girls semi finals round Ashley Berma(St. Nicholas Primary/Halcyon Tennis)
defeated Lily Thomas ( St. Anthony's Secondary) and Chante Francis (Antigua Girls High/ Halcyon Tennis) defeated Shereese Henry ( St. John's Catholic Primary/ Halcyon Tennis).
As the stage was set, Monday's finals a three set trilogy between 10 year old Ashley Bersma and Chante Francis. Bersma took the first set in easy fashion 4-1 however Chante Francis soon rebound taking the 2nd and 3rd sets 4-1, 4-2 to be crowned the girls under14 champion (Francis 1-4, 4-1, 4-2).

The boys finals saw different level of play as Cordell Williams jr defeated Keon Armstrong in straight sets 4-2, 4-1 to be crowned the boys under 14 champion.
