yesterday 5th November, 2012.
In the boys semifinals:- Justin Marcano (St. Andrews Primary) def Aiden Fuller (St. Nicholas Primary) 4-0, 4-2. Keon Armstrong (St. John's Lutheran) def Nicholas Fuller (St. Anthony's Secondary) 4-0, 4-0
In the boys and girls finals, Keon Armstrong and Shereese Henry were named the
champions respectively. This after Armstrong defeated Justin Marcano in straight sets 4-0, 4-1
The girls competition took a slightly different spin as Shereese Henry (St. John's Catholic Primary) defeated Ashley Bersma in three sets 2-4, 4-0, 4-2
The Halcyon Tennis Club thanks all the volunteers, organisers and the sponsors who made
this event a special one. The official award Ceremony will be held at the Halcyon Tennis
club on Wednesday 7th November, 2012 at 5:00 pm.
The Antigua & Barbuda Tennis Association encourages all coaches of local clubs and the Physical Education Teachers for primary schools which are part of the Schools Tennis Initiative to prepare your young athletes for planned tournaments in 2013, the first of which will be a red and orange ball tournament on January 12th, 2013 - Rupert K. Henry Tennis 10s Tournament.
