CARIBBEAN 13 & UNDER DEVELOPMENT CHAMPIONSHIPS CONCLUDES Saturday 3rd September 2011
Jamaica secured the number one position held by Bermuda for two years running. Aruba secured the Number two position and Antigua & Barbuda showing significant improvement over 2010 capturing the number three position.
Williams and Ambrose were on the losing end of their matches today, considering they played well.
Williams lost to Joshua Worme of Barbados in a hard fought three setter 7-6(1), 4-6, 1-6; williams finishes in 10th place out of a field of 27
Ambrose lost in straight sets to Andrew Symmonds of Barbados 4-6, 1-6 settling for 8th place
in a field of 27 -an improvement over his 11th position in 2010.
The Antigua & Barbuda Tennis Association congratulates our junior players for their performance at the 2011 team event- 13 & Under Caribbean Development Championships in Suriname a third place position in a field of 14 countries is a significant improvement from 9th Place in 2010.

Raymond securing both the girls singles title, doubles title and the number one position in the girls competition.
Ambrose & Williams quarterfinals run in the doubles competition.
