DAY 3 - 28TH ANNUAL COCO COLA ST. LUCIA JUNIOR TOURNAMENT Monday 8th August 2011
Day 3 –Tournament started with main draw matches for both U14 and U18's - Monday August 8th, 2011
In the first round of the boys U14 Cordell Williams Jr loss to Tjimon Louisy of St. Lucia 1-6, 0-6 while D'Jeri Raymond defeated Eva Frazzoni of Bermuda in the Girl U14 Quarterfinals 6-0, 7-6 this win has secured Raymond's spot in the Semi finals competition.
Opening ceremony started at 5:00 pm at the St. Lucia Tennis Centre with the parade of nations; countries represented Antigua, Bahamas, Bermuda, Greneda Mexico, Netherland Antilles, Suriname, Australia, Trinidad & Tobago, Sweden, Barbados, Japan, St. Vincent, Chile, Germany , Syria and host country St. Lucia. Present also were the tournament sponsors representatives Coco Cola bottling company, Du boulay bottling, clear water, executive body of the St. Lucia tennis Association and Minister of Sports.
