ANNUAL GLOW WALK RAISED EC$18,000 FOR CHARITY Wednesday 8th January 2020
A.S. Bryden & Sons (Antigua) Ltd is a premier distribution company, operating on Antigua for more than 50 years. The company maintains a robust philanthropy program by hosting various activities to end with an annual fundraiser, with all proceeds going towards a charitable organization of our choice for the year.
This year, the company hosted its second Annual GLOW Walk, in partnership with the Friends of The Care Project, its chosen charity for 2019. More than 300 persons participated in the thoroughly enjoyable event.
The Friends of The Care Project (FOTCP) is an independent Not for Profit registered charity registered in Antigua & Barbuda. It was established in 2011, to help improve facilities and specialist therapy provided at The Care Project (CP). The CP is a government facility, which is home to 25 disabled children and young adults, many of whom have been abandoned. This year with the aid of our sponsors, Brydens was able to raise funds to purchase much needed equipment for the facility.
The GLOW Walk raised $18,000 this year. Mrs. Eleisha Yetzer, the Pharmaceutical Manager of A.S. Bryden & Sons (Antigua) Ltd will be presenting the check to Mrs. Annette Carey the President of The Friends of The Care.
