ABOUT US
We are a volunteer-run touch rugby club in Antigua & Barbuda, building a fun, inclusive community around the sport we love. While we currently play and train in touch rugby, our eyes are set on the future—with plans to develop Olympic 7s rugby right here on the islands. Whether you're a seasoned player, total beginner, or just visiting, you’re welcome to jump in. Mission To grow the game of rugby across Antigua and Barbuda—from the beaches to the schools—through community, coaching, and competition. OUR GOALS
- Introduce rugby to all ages, boys and girls, through school programs and community events - Develop local talent and create a clear pathway from touch rugby to Olympic 7s - Host fun, welcoming tournaments for locals and visitors alike - Build a sustainable, grassroots rugby culture in the twin-island nation Current Opportunities to Play: Join us every Thursday, 5:30pm, English Harbour Playing Field (Marsh Village, English Harbour; turn opposite Geny’s superette). These are informal touch rugby sessions; everyone playing understands the risks associated with a semi-contact sport (e.g. accidental collisions, although rare, do happen), takes full responsibility for their actions, and will not hold any volunteer or organiser of Antigua and Barbuda Rugby liable for any reason. All are welcome: male/female, young/old, experienced/novice. |
