The Antigua and Barbuda Cycling Association will be hosting the 4th Annual Shirley Heights Challenge sponsored by Antigua Vacations Ltd, Sunday 29th August.
The race will start at 9:30 am in Seaview Farm by the playing field heading out unto Factory Road, up through Pares, Williakies, though Collins, New Field, Freetown, to Halfmoon bay and back, through Bethesda, Cobbs Cross to the major challenge, Shirley Heights! The race will proceed back to the start point by racing through Falmouth, Liberta, All Saints, Jonas road, Factory road, finishing back in Seaview Farm.

The 45 mile Shirley heights challenge is anticipated to be an exciting one as the island two best riders, Jyme Bridges and Robert Marsh will battle on a course that favor the two for the top price of $1500.00 . However, strong competition will be coming from Commonwealth Games selectee, Marvin Spencer and Omari King. Other strong competition can be expected from National Champion, Cosmos Richardson, Darel Christopher of BVI, Ken Jackson and Dale Richardson.
B-Class and female riders is expected to complete a reduce course. The B-class continues to be an unpredictable and exciting competition as several riders continue showing good performance rotating the winner for the season. A win Sunday can come from any of the follow; Abevia McDonald, Timothy Thomas, Wayne Henry, Andre Simon and Devon Norris. The Female Class continues to be dominated by Tamiko Butler while Lindsay Duffy continues to narrow in on her victory margin. Other strong competition can come from Dorothy Graham and Keita Mannix.
