"It’s been three years since the formation of Sanctuary, Antigua’s now leading performance choir, and as luck would have it, the time has come for their third annual production entitled “Music That Moves”.
After a successful debut concert in November 2008 and a successful Christmas production in December 2009, Sanctuary is continuing on their quest to bring choral music back to the forefront in Antigua & Barbuda. Being such a vibrant, energetic and dynamic performance group (ages ranging from 20~40), Sanctuary brings an innovative and refreshing sound to many different genres of music.
For this concert, patrons can expect a wide variety of music ranging from spiritual to contemporary to cultural, that will Move your souls – Move your hearts – and Move your feet. Come and hear unique arrangements of some of your favourite songs and get ready to be blown away by some amazing solo performances by the choirs leading vocalists.
The show will be hosted at the Precision Centre at Paynters on Saturday 27th November 2010 at 8 p.m and on Sunday 28th November 2010 at 7 p.m. You don’t want to miss it!
Tickets are $40 and are available at Evolution on Market Street, St. John's (Tel: 562-5325) or from any choir member! Children from ages 6 to 12 pay $20.
Here is a genuine testimonial from someone who attended Santuary's two previous concerts:
"In these days, being crude, rough and downright unmannerly are becoming the traits encouraged among our young people. In such an atmosphere it is important to expose ourselves to some high quality cultural experiences. The opportunity for such a cultural exposure came my way and I thought I would share it with you. I speak from past experience and I assure you that the "Sanctuary" experience will thrill you and lift your being higher than you thought possible.
