FUNDRAISING DINNER AND DANCING, PARTY NIGHTS, SPECIALS AND MORE ON THIS WEEK

DINING & NIGHTLIFE

Tonight at the Pillar’s Restaurant at Admiral’s Inn is Chef Juan’s ‘Flavours from around the world’ dinner, with a special menu set for the evening. Join them for Get Sparkled Fridays as well to kick off your weekend with Champagne, Sparkling Wine or Prosecco from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm. You can also join them for Sunday Brunch each weekend at their waterfront restaurant. Note that the restaurant will be closed this Saturday evening for a private function.

Get tickets and come out for The Night of the Rising Sons (and Daughters) at Sun Ra this Friday, giving guests a night of dining, drinks and dancing. Pre-paid tickets are EC$100 and cover welcome drinks and a succulent three-course dinner. There will be door prizes and a raffle and funds raised will go to the PTSA to assist the school with projects.

Kick off the weekend with live music by the 17 61° Band on Friday night at Mad Mongoose, followed on Sunday by their first Sheik Karaoke Night, set to continue each Sunday night after.

Al Porto hosts two new party nights – Each Saturday with Rico and the 4 Play Band and each Monday with Asher Otto and Itchyfeet! They have a full entertainment schedule lined out for November and December so check it out, book and table and join them one evening for great dining specials and entertainment!

Get set for Ultra IV, the annual season-starting party happening this Saturday at Abracadabra, bringing you music of all genres with DJs Miks, Sporty, Charlie and more, all on the decks throughout the night.

Check out everything happening at Sugar Ridge for November, including their complimentary bottle of wine special and the Aveda Spa’s hair cut and blow dry special, all in their November Sugar Beat Newsletter. On their weekly dining and event schedule at Sugar Club, Caribbean Nights continue each Monday, with Steel Band Music in the background. Wednesdays are still 241 Steak Nights, with live music by local songstress Arianne Whyte, followed on Friday by Seafood Night, featuring live music by Rico and the 4Play Band. Every Saturday is DJ Party Night, with dinner preceding off their appetizing A La Carte Menu.

Reserve early for Le Bistro Restaurant’s Wine Dinner next Thursday November 14th, featuring fine French dining paired perfectly with fantastic wines from around the world.

Save the date for a Beni Di Batasiolo Wine Dinner next Friday 15th November at La Bussola, put on by Cuvee Brydens Wines. Indulge in a five-course dinner menu, paired perfectly with delectable dishes prepared by Chef Omar Tagliaventi. Price for the evening is EC$160 per person.

From November 15th, The Bay House Restaurant serves Tapas on the deck daily from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm, offering a great menu alongside their happy hour with 40% off cocktails.

BEST IN THE WEST FISHING TOURNAMENT

This Saturday sees the final fishing tournament for this year, the Best in the West Tournament. The tournament calls for boats and crews from around the island to come out and prove who really is the ‘Best in the West’. Fishing starts at 5:00 am with the boats returning and the lime starting at 3:30 pm. Find out all the details here.

RESTAURANT REOPENINGS

Seabreeze Café/Bar/Gelateria is now open for the season, starting at 7:30 am every day and closing at 6:30pm for now.

Ristorante Paparazzi opened this week on Tuesday, and are now open serving lunch and dinner throughout the season.

Mark your calendar for Abracadabra’s reopening, starting off on Thursday November 14th serving dinner from 7:00 pm each evening except Sundays.

Look forward to Harmony Hall’s reopening on Sunday November 24th.

SPORT SHORTS

The Cycling Association invites all registered members to their General Meeting this Thursday 7th November at the National Olympic Committee Office, starting at 7:30 pm.

The next hash is happening this Saturday, starting at Five Islands School from 3:30 pm.

The 12th Annual Female Football Showdown kicks off this Saturday, with the first match featuring Ottos Tigress v 5P’s.

COMMUNITY

This and every Thursday is Twilight Thursday in Historical Redcliffe Quay, where a number of shops stay open until 9:00 pm for your shopping convenience. Come out and grab Christmas gifts early or dining treats from various shops like Silver Chelles, Zemi Art Gallery, Heavenly Java 2 Go, C & C Wine Bar and more.
