The Casa de Campo Regatta will be held in Marina Casa de Campo, Dominican Republic, from 11 to 13 of March 2011, organized by the Casa de Campo Yacht Club (CCYC), in collaboration with the Dominican Sailing Federation (FDV) and the Dominican Ocean Sailing Competition Boats (ADVELCO). This is also the first race of the circuit “Catalina - Santo Domingo 2011. "

1. Preamble
1.1 The 5th International Regatta in Casa de Campo Marina will begin on Friday March 11th, 2011 and end on Sunday March 13th, 2011.The Organizing authorities, Casa de Campo Yacht Club and Marina, have determined that the competition will be established around the marks off the coast in front of Casa de Campo Marina, and around Catalina Island.

2.    Publicity
2.1 This regatta will be classified as Category "C" under ISAF regulations.
2.2 The competing boats may be required to carry sponsors stickers on the hull and flags of sponsors in the rough while competing.

3.    Rules
3.1 This regatta will be governed by:
The Competition Rules of Sailing (RRS by its initials in English)2009-2012
PHRF Regulations and defined by the VSF & ADVELCO
Sailing Instructions and this Notice of Race.

Entry and Registration - Entry fee will be RD $ 2,000 per boat to 31feet in length, RD $ 3,000 per boat up to 41 feet long and RD $4,000 per boat over 41 feet long

Division of categories
5.1 Division "A" category will consist of Racing.
Division "B" will consist of Cruising Class with Spinnaker &Gennaker.
Division "C" shall consist of Cruising Class without Spinnaker &without Gennaker

Paragraph: The Organizing Committee reserves the right to open more classes as long as they have 3 or more boats racing

Measurement, inspection and sailing Limitations
All boats must comply with the measurements and inspected by the Official Committee of measurement.

7.2 Any boat can be disqualified if found to have been modified from its input measurement during the race.

Sailing Instructions
8.1 The Sailing Instructions are estimated to be available on Friday March 11th at the Yacht Club

9.1 The Jury will be a protest as specified in Rule 90 (a) of RRS70.
9.2 The penalty for a breach of RRS Part 2 will be as detailed in the Instructions of RRS 44.2 (two-lap penalty.)
9.3 The competing boats to be seen with an anchor cast over their bows as they compete will be liable to a penalty of 20% instead for a first offense. Subsequent violations committed under these Sailing Instructions will result in disqualification of the competitor.
9.4 Any boat that is seen throwing rubbish into the sea may be cause of protest and subsequently penalized or disqualified after a hearing before the jury in protest.

10. Score
10.1 The scoring will be as specified in Appendix A of the RRS rules, using the Low Score System. Four races are scheduled for all divisions,

Results and Awards
11.1 The provisional results will be announced in the Official Notice Board as soon as possible after the completion of each race.
11.2 The Prizes and Cups will be presented on Sunday 13, at around 05.00pm.
11.3 The prizes to be awarded are listed in this program.
11.4 There will be trophies for all classes daily, according to the standard set by ADVELCO.

Special awards for participants
Casa de Campo Yacht Club will have surprise prizes, amenities attached to the events program, memorabilia, products and souvenirs from the race for boats participants.

As grand prize in the final award, will be raffled among only the Captains
who are present at the ceremony (will not be admitted crew and representatives), An IPAD.

Free Dockage
All participants will have free moorings from March 05 to March 27, 2011 (not including services, electricity and water).

Only boats officially registered and that participated in a minimum of two tests shall be entitled to this courtesy so far offered.

Casa de Campo Marina and Casa de Campo Yacht Club are located at the mouth of the Chavon River and the Caribbean Sea, within the confines of the Resort. Private yachts sailing the Caribbean can contact La Marina in advance and book a berth for your stay. Waypoint for the entrance to the Port: Latitude 18 degrees, 23.9 North and Longitude 68 degrees, 54.2 West.

The port's capacity is 354 Marina boats averaging from 30 to 250 feet, with approximately 40 of them reserved for boats in transit.The depth range is 3 to 4 meters.
There is also a pier that supports 20 unnumbered dedicatedexclusively to sailing regattas and boats in transit. The length of these springs is for boats up to 180 feet each and the shot is 4meters.
