“The Food is as Good as the View”

“I've been to Carmichael's twice this month and couldn't have been more pleased with our dining experience. I took my girlfriend their for Valentine's and also went there as a group. Service was excellent (Clayon was outstanding. He normally works at the Sugar Club) and Clifford has a great selection of wines. The view is unmatched as dining goes in Antigua. Thus far, I've eaten the blue tuna as an appetizer (awesome if you like sushi) and the crab cakes which were also very good. The pumpkin / lobster bisque wasn't as good as I had hoped it to be as it was lacking the 'sweet' from the pumpkin. For main courses, I enjoyed two catches of the day: one was Mahi Mahi and the other grouper - both fantastic.

The presentation of the food was excellent, the view fantastic and the ambiance romantic. For all that you get, the food is reasonably priced when combining it all together. I've seen more expensive places in Antigua that can't deliver all that this restaurant does.
