LATITUDE 35 SMASH TWAC RACE AND WORLD RECORD
Thursday 19th January 2017

A number of spectators and past and future rowers came out to welcome Latitude 35 into Nelson’s Dockyard, as they completed the 2016 Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge, winning the race and smashing both the TWAC Race Record and World Record. The team comprising of Jason Caldwell, Matthew Brown, Angus Collins and Alex Simpson arrived in Antigua on January 18th at 09:33 pm local time after 35 days, 14 hours and 3 minutes rowing from La Gomera in the Canary Islands.
