CANCER CHARITY DONATIONFriday 30th October 2009
A desperate plea for assistance to get a terminally ill visiting police officer home.
For those fortunate to be in good health, being in Canada may be rather enjoyable. But if you‘ve been diagnosed with terminal cancer, as a police officer from St. John’s, Antigua, Wendell Browne has, then you would naturally want to return to the your home town as quickly as possible to be with your family.
Wendell desperately wants to return home to be with his two daughters, age 12 and 13 and his entire family. Wendell came to Canada to seek life saving treatment at the Juravinski Cancer Centre, Hamilton, but, after extensive surgery and treatment, the cancer has spread to his lungs.
The trouble is, Wendell, has exhausted all of his financial resources in seeking treatment that he does not have enough money to return to Antigua. The cost for his return by a flight to Antigua with a nurse escort would be $ 7500.00 – if this can take place this weekend – October 31, 2009
We have been asked to assist with repatriation arrangements and medical case management.
