SPARKLING DETERGENT LAUNCH COMMUNITY BASE PROJECT

A locally established household detergent manufacturing company, namely D & Y Affordable Sparkling is making an impact at the community-base through various outreach initiative.

On Tuesday, as part of their latest contribution, Sparkling Detergents donated an equivalent of eight (8) cases of one (1) Litre bleach and a case of dish –liquid to the Fiennes Institute.
The company, has been in existence, since July and is focusing efforts in reaching –out to the less fortunate in the community.

Managing Director Devon Benta told residents and staffs at the Fiennes Institute during the brief presentation that Sparkling Detergents is an environmentally friendly product, manufactured, packaged and distributed on Potters Main Rd, St Georges, in Antigua & Barbuda.

Benta said, “For now, the products manufactured are Sparkling Bleach and Sparkling dish liquid, and these boasts, natural fruit flavors –flowers, fresh green apples and lemon. As a local organization, we encourage residents to support local, therefore we have a critical role to play towards the well –being and cleanliness and commitment to the people of Antigua & Barbuda. “
Alton Forde, Fienne’s Master accepted the cleaning products on behalf of the institution. He noted with gratitude Sparkling’s Detergents gesture to make such a donation, stating, cleaning and sanitation are critical to their operations.

Benta disclosed aspects of the community based project, which is ongoing since the inception of Sparkling Detergents, they have since adopted two elderly residents in the community, who received weekly stipend.

Additionally, plans are afoot to assist two students from Potters Village, whose parents are unable to sustain them.  School supplies would also be presented to students who are less fortunate across Antigua & Barbuda.

Sparkling Detergents continues its community project at the Mental Hospital, this Thursday, with similar contributions.
