ANTIGUA CHARTER YACHT SHOW 2014 Friday 28th November 2014

The annual Antigua Charter Yacht Show will get under way on Friday, December 5th and will continue until the 11th of December. There are currently just under 100 yachts registered for the Show. The largest power and sailing yachts currently registered are both 295 feet in length - sailing yacht Athena and power yacht Nero.
The Charter Yacht Show is a private show at which brokers view the yachts, meet yacht crews and sample the services they provide so they are best able to represent the yachts to their clients. Over 100 brokerage firms will be represented at the Show with close to 300 brokers coming from around the world.
A highlight of the show is the Champagne Nicholas Feuillatte Charter Chefs Competition. This competition, now in its 15th year, is two great competitions in one - the Culinary Contest and the Tablescaping Contest. This year chefs will be required to create and prepare a three-course 'Gluten-free' dinner with one element being baked using gluten-free flour. This year's Tablescaping Contest will feature a 'Pineapple' theme and will see stewards and stewardesses competing with each other to create the most beautiful table setting as judged by a panel of judges. The competition features three categories - yachts 160+ feet in length; yachts 100 to 159 feet; and yachts 99 feet and under.
Yachts will be moored at Falmouth Harbour Marina and Antigua Yacht Club Marina in Falmouth Harbour and at Nelson's Dockyard Marina in English Harbour for the duration of the Show.
The docks and the Show are not open to the public.
