A & B GOLF TEAM HANGS ON TO 17TH PLACE

Tougher day two for Sir Vivian Richards and Errol Samuel, team Antigua and Barbuda as they slipped to 17th place at the end of day two of the International Pairs World Finals, in Loch Lomond, Scotland.

Richards and Samuels who played Chile are disappointed with their final placing, however, they expressed that they enjoyed the experience and thanked everyone for their support.
It was a better day for the Caribbean team of Adrian Norford of St. Kitts and Nevis and Max Raffoul of Dominica who played Scotland and finished 8th overall.
 
This is the first time that Golf Experience Caribbean (GEC), the franchise licensees for the Caribbean region, has taken two teams to the It International Pairs World Finals, and Zorol Barthley, CEO said that the success of the teams will inspire golfers across the region to participate in next year’s International Caribbean Pairs to be held September 06 and 07: “it has been a very rewarding experience for all of us and I have to thank our sponsors, well wishers and the golfing community for helping us to grow.”

Scores: 8th: Caribbean 67 and 17th:Antigua/Barbuda 55 - winners UAE Portugal 76, 2nd: UAE 76 and 3rd: Scotland 72
