A CORPORATE PARTNERS SUPPORT GOLFING
Friday 7th September 2012

Title sponsor’s INET welcomes the inclusion of regional golfers at this weekend’s INET International Pairs Caribbean tournament: “INET is once again pleased to be the title sponsor of this prestigious event.

As a forward thinking and dynamic business, INET always seeks to align itself with initiatives similarly inclined; the fact that this event is now being held on a regional scale, only speaks to its continued growth and the innovation of its organizers.

On behalf of APUA INET, I wish all the competitors good luck and we look forward to winners of this competition proudly bearing our brand.” – Curtis McKay, APUA Telecoms Business Unit Manager.

His sentiments are shared by fellow corporate partners ECAB – the official bank and Colombian Emeralds International; “ECAB is proud to be the Official Banking partner of such a prestigious event, and we look forward to building a continued relationship with the Golf Experience Management Team annually”, states Levor Henry, ECAB Corporate & Client Relations Officer.

"Colombian Emeralds International (CEI) recognizes the importance of promoting the Antigua & Barbuda product. The Inet International Pairs Caribbean Tournament provides a great platform for our twin-island state to be fully showcased when the winning Antigua and Barbuda team takes part in the International Pairs tournament to be held in Scotland in October. This event will bring amateur golfers from over 30 countries worldwide to compete, share cultures and capture memories. Colombian Emeralds International (CEI) is pleased to part of this event as we view it as an excellent avenue for our local golfers to showcase their talents to the public and then to the world. This year, the addition of Caribbean teams will add another exciting feature to the event,” states Éliane Matthews, Senior Promotions Manager| Marketing.

Zorol Barthley of Golf Experience Caribbean, the organisers of the Inet International Pairs Caribbean Tournament adds that this event is more than a competition: “One of the joys of hosting this event is that we are able to raise money and awareness for a deserving individual and this year we will be having a silent auction for Jeremiah "Tini" Henry.

Jeremiah (Tini) Henry meets Sir Gary Sobers. Henry was burnt by by the oil from the hot mix truck whilst working for the Public Works Department.

Our corporate partners and individuals have willingly donated items that will help us to meet our target. And I wish to thank them for their unwavering belief and support of our tournament.”
