Turtles, pelicans, stingrays and flying fish can be seen from the house with frigate birds, egrets and even ospreys soaring overhead. Hummingbirds are frequent visitors to the tropical gardens, with palms and bougainvillea which extend to all sides.  The tropical gardens extend to the sea via and easy footpath, giving access to and from the water, with potential to install a private dock and providing a base for any keen fishermen.

Two of Antigua’s larger hotels are at Long Bay and some of the top tourist attractions are in this part of the island, including, Paddles, Stingray City, Betty’s Hope and Devil’s Bridge. Pelican Point is some 20 minutes by car from Nelson’s Dockyard, English Harbour, Falmouth Harbour, the airport and the capital city of St John.
