"Great Holiday, Great Value" - Reviewed September 12, 2013

We stayed at the Jolly Beach resort for 2 weeks Jan / Feb 2013 as we picked up a last minute deal from Virgin Holidays. I must say reading some of the reviews I was rather concerned about the food, especially for my teenage son who is very particular to what he eats. We found the food to be fine with a good range available. Once or twice we found the red meats somewhat chewy although we simply got something else. The buffet restaurants had many different “theme” meals which kept the menu options varied throughout our stay. I had expected my son to frequently visit the outside burger bar but this was not the case as he enjoyed the variety of meals available from the buffet restaurants and the a la carte restaurants which we all thought were very good.

I do agree with others that the rooms are to say the least a little dated but how much time do you actually spend in your room? The service offered by the staff was great and the beach was simply superb!

For the price we paid we were more than happy with Jolly Beach and we will defiantly be back during the winter.
