Each hamper will be stuffed with food and other goodies purchased by the members with money from fund-raising events held throughout the year. Over the years, the number of hampers distributed have targeted communities from Old Road, Swetes, Cedar Grove and Jennings, to Grays Farm, Fort Road, Parham, and Gambles, and the amount distributed has increased despite tough economic times.
HERO House has over the years provided their chapel as the packing space. Hampers are also provided to the staff for distribution to families who make HERO House their home.
For media coverage and photo ops, please arrive at Hero House no later than 8am on Thursday, or call KC Nash (723-7740) or Avonelle Pole (728-8565).
