CITIZENS INTERNATIONAL LATEST NEWS
Tuesday 23rd February 2021

Once you obtain Antigua & Barbuda citizenship, you are required to visit the country within the first five years for a one-time 5-day visit. Meeting clients on the ground and helping coordinate that first trip is one of the things we enjoy the most.

We host our new citizens at our offices for the Oath of Allegiance ceremony and it is, without fail, a joyous occasion for all. Over the last year, due to the ongoing pandemic, the Government of Antigua & Barbuda has relaxed the requirement for the 5-day visit for anyone with an impending passport renewal with a promise that the trip will occur in short order once travel is easier.

However, the requirement to take the Oath of Allegiance remains and so to make it easier, 15 overseas missions have been authorized to host the ceremony.

View list of authorised missions. Read the full newsletter here.
